Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry, particularly in developing strategic partner relationships to drive high growth recurring revenue
  • Experience with Microsoft and/or AWS partnership
  • Experience in the industrial space like Oil & Gas or Manufacturing
  • Commercial acumen to interpret partner business requirements
  • Ability to interpret partner business requirements and develop strategic business plans
  • Experience in managing and developing partner pipeline, including early stage lead qualification and sales maturity
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including Product, Advisory CS, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Direct Sales
  • Experience in managing coordination and leading handoffs with Direct Sales team and other internal cross-functional teams
  • Ability to deliver training/onboarding for business development, in line with the specific strategic partnership GTM plan
  • Ability to contribute to the shaping and development of partner program by providing feedback from strategic partners on content delivered and requirements going forward

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strategic cloud partnerships regionally through driving areas of focus
  • Expand relationships, drive adoption, and deliver joint value with strategic cloud partners in the Americas
  • Identify and cultivate key relationships within strategic cloud partners, securing executive sponsorship and alignment in key verticals
  • Nurture and develop partner pipeline, managing early stage lead qualification through sales maturity
  • Support partner regional customer events, representing the Cognite portfolio and partner alliances
  • Align the strategic partner business goals, KPIS, and strategy to manage and progress commercial strategy
  • Manage coordination and lead handoff with Direct Sales team and other internal cross-functional teams
  • Ensure Best Practice Adoption by working with the Partner & Alliance team, and other functional areas to oversee enablement plans
  • Deliver training/onboarding for business development, in line with the specific strategic partnership GTM plan
  • Contribute to the shaping and development of partner program by providing feedback from strategic partners on content delivered and requirements going forward
