Requirements

  • Proven success leading high-availability, large-scale infrastructure in AWS, Azure or other major cloud environments
  • Deep expertise in container orchestration and cloud-native application delivery
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, Helm) and GitOps workflows
  • Strong understanding of networking, IAM, service mesh, and zero-trust principles in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with incident management, SRE principles, and building operational playbooks
  • Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Passion for automation, platform resilience, and scaling systems intelligently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall company-wide cloud strategy and account footprint, core infrastructure, and cloud architecture advice and support
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the company's cloud environments and technologies
  • Set strategic directions for cloud engineering, designing modern architectures for multi-cloud deployments, evaluating future technical solutions, and assessing security risks
  • Work closely with leaders in Product Engineering, Global Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Security Architecture, and solution stakeholders to develop a premier cloud ecosystem to support platform evolution and delivery velocity
  • Lead and grow the Cloud Engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous learning
  • Own the design, implementation, and scalability of AWS-based and Azure-based infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of production systems across services and environments
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity to automate security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance controls
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Utilize Cloud tools and methodologies to assess, plan, and execute migrations of workloads to the new platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application migrations across compute, storage, networking, and security
  • Evolve CI/CD pipelines for rapid, safe, and reliable deployments across all engineering teams
  • Drive improvements in monitoring, logging, and tracing using modern observability tools (e.g., Datadog)
  • Proactively manage cloud cost efficiency while ensuring performance and redundancy standards
  • Develop and manage a FinOps and Cloud Enablement function that partners with business and engineering teams to optimize cost, performance, and speed to market
  • Promote governance-by-design through infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, and intelligent automation to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable cloud operations
