Requirements

  • 6+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm (BCG, McKinsey, Bain), with experience in corporate strategy and multiple process optimization engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems and create clear frameworks, analyses, and recommendations
  • Strong project ownership skills with experience driving cross-functional execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including synthesis for senior audiences, especially in slide deck creation
  • Structured, analytical thinker who applies rigor to identifying “the what,” paired with the EQ to understand “the why.”
  • Capable of translating insights into actions and following through with disciplined execution
  • Skilled at influencing through persuasion and working across technical and operational teams
  • Curious about mortgage operations, financial services, and operational excellence

  • Experience in fintech, mortgage, lending, real estate, or other regulated operational environments
  • Familiarity with operational KPIs, sales funnel analytics, and quality measurement frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex process evaluations and optimizations across mortgage operations and sales
  • Manage complicated business process optimizations in partnership with functional leaders
  • Build RACI-driven communication loops, ensure remediation (training, tooling, process redesign), and track impact over time
  • Serve as the responsible owner for new cross-functional project launches
  • Lead high-stakes corporate and business initiatives, ensuring structured planning, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes
  • Conduct deep category and competitive analysis to guide decisions on product, operational investments, and long-term positioning
  • Translate research into clear recommendations for leadership
  • Support the CEO and Finance in board materials, investor updates, strategic narratives, and research
  • Synthesize complex data into clear insights that support decision-making
  • Participate in tracking, evaluating, and negotiating with third-party vendors
  • Build analyses that size value, assess ROI, and support selection decisions
