Requirements

Highly experienced and strategic data professional with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise data architecture across data management capabilities
Skilled in building scalable, secure, high-performance, reusable, and extensible data solutions
Proficient in programming languages like Java, Python, Node.js, modern data platforms, new reporting tools, cloud technologies, data governance, and analytics
Deep Data Architecture experience, particularly for Workplace business programs
Key skills in Snowflake, Semantic layer technologies, REST-based APIs, Power BI reporting (including data modeling, data visualization, report design, DAX, and communication)
Extensive experience in Data, Reporting, and Data Services in Cloud
Advanced knowledge in Oracle, Postgres, YugaByte, Snowflake, CockroachDB; plus in other analytical, streaming, or data platforms/technologies
Proven track record of strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills to communicate analytical results and solutions meaningfully to business stakeholders and technical teams
Ability to work as an Individual Contributor in Bengaluru or Chennai, India

Responsibilities

Devise a Data consumption strategy, modernize existing reporting and collaboration capabilities, manage migration, and define a new path forward
Understand the current ecosystem, data strategy, and data platforms
Work across business and technology teams to gather current state and future needs for data processing
Analyze current data sharing and reporting tools/platforms, evaluate gaps, and help modernize/build future platforms
Provide guidance on utilization, migration, and adoption of data services with cost and security in mind during platform modernization
Partner with Business, architects, Product Owners, AI Technologists, and IT leaders to enable reporting needs, modernize solutions, and make them nimble and scalable for large volumes across multiple products
Ensure adherence to architectural standards, practices, and governance; work with all parties to make decisions and collaborate
Participate in technology planning and budgeting processes
Apply data architecture to implementation, solve consumption at scale issues, and manage data governance, security, and end-to-end data journey
Work with application/product teams, product leaders, business units, architecture/engineering disciplines, and governance teams to bring future-thinking designs/approaches and execute strategies with engineering teams
