Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field. They should have over 8 years of experience in AI research and development, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, demonstrating a successful track record of delivering AI products in robotics or a related environment. Strong expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics is required, along with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans. Experience with large-scale datasets and sensor data, as well as familiarity with various transformer architectures and diffusion models, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to inspire and lead a diverse team.

Responsibilities

The Director of AI will define and drive the AI strategy aligned with the company's vision, leading the AI team and fostering a culture of innovation. They will develop and manage AI project roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals, while defining and monitoring key performance indicators for AI initiatives. The role includes mentoring the development of onboard AI algorithms, spearheading AI solutions for data auto-labeling, and creating AI agents for human-robot interaction. Additionally, they will stay updated on AI research, establish partnerships for innovation, and ensure AI solutions adhere to safety guidelines.
