Requirements

  • Experience in creating and leading end-to-end procurement functions, including policies, processes, and performance related to demand, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, third-party risk management, and supplier management post-award
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, CSIS (security/privacy and IT), FP&A, Accounting, and department heads to ensure risk-aware, policy-compliant, value-generating procurement outcomes
  • Expertise in procurement technology roadmaps (demand, sourcing, CLM, supplier risk management, P2P) and driving automation, policy enforcement, and data quality in reference systems (e.g., ERP/CLM)
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key suppliers to foster collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in defining and reporting procurement ROI via transparent dashboards (e.g., cost savings, cost avoidance, total contract value under management, cycle times, compliance rates) with rigorous, consistent definitions and verifiable tracking
  • Leadership in third-party risk management programs

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for and continuously improve Plusgrade's Procurement Policy, operational model, and processes from demand to contract, including upstream planning, competitive sourcing, commercial negotiation, approvals, and transition to purchase orders/invoicing
  • Establish and evolve supplier management practices (performance reviews, QBRs, SLA/OLA, obligation tracking, renewal guides, issue escalation mechanisms) ensuring each supplier has a clear owner, defined success metrics, and established risk/compliance framework
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting to align budget approvals and purchase order processes; ensure seamless integration of procurement orchestration with financial operations and reporting
  • Work with Legal to standardize and accelerate contracting (strategy for templates, practical guides, fallback positions) while preserving risk management posture and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with CSIS to institutionalize security/privacy reviews and technical interoperability/integration checks for technology suppliers and data processing agreements
  • Own the procurement technology roadmap (demand, sourcing, CLM, supplier risk management, P2P) and drive automation, policy application, and data quality in reference systems (e.g., ERP/CLM) to improve processing times and requester/approver experience
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement
