Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant IC Design experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant IC Design experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week
  • Less than 10% travel

Responsibilities

  • Support Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio of diagnostic, pacing, and defibrillation products
  • Work with architect and systems engineers to define and document requirements for the next IC iteration
  • Modify or develop new RTL files using System Verilog
  • Develop block level testbench and tests to simulate identified changes
  • Develop system level constrained random testcases using System Verilog to achieve coverage metrics
  • Work with physical designer to create block level constraints
  • Develop and execute characterization level testing on the hardware using Python or other lab scripting languages
  • Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications
  • Determine design approaches and parameters
  • Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
  • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
  • Review vendor capability to support product development
