Requirements

Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant IC Design experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant IC Design experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience
Ability to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week
Less than 10% travel

Responsibilities

Support Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio of diagnostic, pacing, and defibrillation products
Work with architect and systems engineers to define and document requirements for the next IC iteration
Modify or develop new RTL files using System Verilog
Develop block level testbench and tests to simulate identified changes
Develop system level constrained random testcases using System Verilog to achieve coverage metrics
Work with physical designer to create block level constraints
Develop and execute characterization level testing on the hardware using Python or other lab scripting languages
Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications
Determine design approaches and parameters
Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
Review vendor capability to support product development
