This is not a remote position; it involves performing repair and maintenance work on-site and on the road, including road service when necessary.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a technician position with knowledge of gasoline and diesel powered equipment is required, along with basic understanding of work order labor time standards and skills in chassis components, refuse bodies, engine repair, suspension, drivetrain, steering systems, HVAC, welding, and fabrication. ASE Certifications (T1-T8) and a Commercial Driver’s License are pluses but not required; a valid Driver’s License is needed.
