Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Technically proficient in the Home Therapy department and knowledge of industry practices and business principles
  • Experienced leadership in a multi-faceted environment, focusing on tactical execution
  • Ability to analyze situations or data, evaluating multiple factors including industry trends
  • Knowledge of legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements for clinical operations

Responsibilities

  • Manage tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives, including costs, operational methods, growth, quality, and staffing
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports; partner with HR on employee matters
  • Hire, coach, counsel employees, conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Direct and manage all aspects of patient care for Home Therapies patients from admission through discharge
  • Oversee identification and evaluation of candidates for the Home Therapies Program, including home environment assessments
  • Ensure timely completion of patient care plans by organizing interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff for safe and effective delivery of home therapy to ESRD patients
  • Ensure dialysis standards in home therapy are equivalent to facility patients
  • Collaborate with Business Unit management to grow assigned Home Therapies programs
  • Participate in developing and implementing strategic plans, goals, and objectives aligned with region, division, and company
  • Implement program-specific and area quality goals and action plans
  • Manage operations of one or more Home Therapy Programs, with direct responsibility for results
  • Ensure facility maintenance, environmental integrity, and promote a culture of safety
  • Follow and recommend changes to policies and procedures; ensure subordinates comply
  • Interact with supervisors, customers, functional peers, internal departments, and external representatives; participate and present at meetings
  • Act as advisor to subordinates for schedules and problem resolution
  • Provide technical guidance and assist with various projects as assigned
  • Take actions to ensure continuity of care, patient and staff safety
