Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, with 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, application security, or software development. A strong understanding of SDLC and CI/CD processes is essential, along with proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift is required. Familiarity with security tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Veracode is also necessary.
The DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert will define and implement DevSecOps best practices to embed security throughout the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines. This includes integrating security tools, automating security testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability management, as well as implementing IaC security scanning and remediation. Responsibilities also involve designing secure, automated build and deployment pipelines for multi-cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring cloud security posture management, and partnering with various teams to enforce security policies. The role includes providing technical guidance, monitoring application and infrastructure security, participating in incident response, and continuously improving DevSecOps processes.
