Requirements

  • Enrollment in MS or PhD degree program in a technical discipline such as computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
  • Strong academic record and interest in software development and DevSecOps principles
  • Background/experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, CI/CD tools (GitLab) and pipeline automation, containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman, deploying and monitoring Kubernetes clusters and pod configurations
  • This position is located in our Woburn, MA office and applicants should expect to be in the office every day

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of tightly knit Agile/SCRUM software teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab or similar systems, including supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) toolsets in an unclassified environment
  • Configuring CI/CD environments for application performance, security monitoring, and alerting
  • Interfacing with the Information Technology office to ensure that infrastructure toolsets are configured, maintained, reliable, and kept up to date in compliance with DoD standards
  • Educating engineers on DevOps fundamentals while helping to implement solid software development processes
  • Participating in all project phases: problem identification, solution discovery, development of software, as well as experimentation
