Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD (designing, building, and scaling pipelines)
Proven experience working with SAP environments (SAP on-prem or SAP on cloud)
Experience in defining and implementing CI/CD blueprints / templates / reusable components
Solid knowledge of VMware (on-prem) environments
Experience with Kubernetes and GCP is a strong advantage
Background in DevOps / DevSecOps practices and automation frameworks
Strong leadership, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, with a strong emphasis on SAP platforms
Create, standardize, and document reusable pipeline blueprints (CI/CD catalogue components)
Automate existing manual deployment and remediation processes
Define and embed DevSecOps best practices, including security and compliance checks
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support on-prem (VMware) and cloud (GCP / Kubernetes) environments
Establish governance and best practices for enterprise-wide DevOps adoption
Act as a technical leader and mentor for the DevOps task force
