Requirements

  • Ability to complete forms such as expense vouchers, weekly summaries, refrigerant logs, and work orders, and submit to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines, including Walmart HVACR safety policy
  • Up-to-date expertise in HVACR systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, energy management systems, rooftop units, condenser coil replacements, electrical motors, contactors, belts, and compressors
  • Ability to perform under supervision, collaborate with management, coworkers, customers, and business partners

Responsibilities

  • Provides required paperwork by completing and submitting forms (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, refrigerant logs, work orders) to senior leadership
  • Assists Technician III HVACR Facilities Maintenance by gathering capital expenditures lists, developing scopes of work for HVACR or energy management systems updates (e.g., rooftop units, condenser coil replacements), and identifying service-related issues
  • Under supervision, completes HVACR work assignments using policies, data, resources; identifies priorities, deadlines, communicates progress, recommends improvements, adapts to changes/feedback
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA regulations, guidelines, and Walmart HVACR safety policy
  • Assists in controlling costs by conducting price comparisons for refrigerants, parts, travel, and submitting warranty claims
  • Under supervision, performs major/minor preventive maintenance and repairs on HVACR equipment, emergency management systems, direct digital control equipment (e.g., replacing motors/contactors, changing/adjusting belts, installing compressors)
  • Assists with service/operation of company property by inspecting equipment (tools, vehicles), troubleshooting/diagnosing HVACR problems, performing minor repairs, scheduling major repairs/maintenance
  • Provides expert advice/guidance on HVACR best practices, supports action plans, aligns efforts to meet customer/business needs
  • Supports business solutions implementation by building relationships/partnerships, identifying needs, determining processes, monitoring progress, recognizing improvements, adapting to changes
  • Models compliance with company policies/procedures, supports mission/values/ethics/integrity in business plans and processes
