Auria is looking for a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer to support the development of satellite ground systems. The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks that design and implement solutions to build, test, and deploy containerized microservices in a fast-paced environment for providing an automated deployment and testing solution for a cloud-built and on-premises deployed software factory.

Requirements

  • Programming Skills: Bash, YAML, Python, PowerShell, and AWSCLI or AzureCLI
  • DevSecOps Tools: GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, and Jenkins
  • Cloud Experience: AWS cloud or Azure Cloud
  • Security Concepts: Experience with application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniques
  • Agile Framework: Experience working within an agile system development framework
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • U.S. Citizenship: Required U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environments.
  • Support software quality efforts associated with product deliveries.
  • Conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain.
  • Implement upgrades to the software factory as needed.
  • Conduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Current U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (required)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Security as Code (SaC): Experience with software development, test automation, and system automation that supports IaC, CaC, and SaC.
  • Software Factory Technologies: Expertise with a modern software factory’s CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies (GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes).
  • Security Standards: Knowledge of security standards such as NIST 800-171 and STIG Compliance.
  • Agile Tools: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development (Jira and Confluence).
  • Security Mindset: Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and implementing full-stack infrastructure with a Security First mindset.
