Experienced engineer in IT, who enjoys solving problems and helping others succeed
Analytical and learning capabilities
Open mindset and approachable attitude to maintain positive and effective relationships with the development community
Natural communicator, approachable and empathetic, skilled at explaining technical topics to different levels of expertise
Results-oriented and strives daily to improve self, processes, and product
Knowledge about one or more of: frontend/backend development, system engineering, public cloud (AWS), developer tools, DevGenAI
Thrives on troubleshooting and takes a proactive approach to finding solutions
Recognizes and applies Agile values in daily work
Passionate about creating a positive, supportive user experience across Development Enablement portfolio
Nice to have: Experience with most of the technology areas described (e.g., Backstage, Github Enterprise Cloud, Bitrise, AWS CodePipeline, AWS ECS, TypeScript, Java, Python, Terraform, AWS CDK)

Responsibilities

Technical implementation of components belonging to the Development Experience initiative, including technologies like Backstage, Github Enterprise Cloud, Bitrise, AWS CodePipeline, AWS ECS (list will expand)
Use programming/IaC languages: mostly TypeScript, Java, Python, Terraform, AWS CDK
Contribution to technical architecture documentation
Document procedures, common issues, and solutions to help others find answers quickly
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, acting as a responder for user requests and incidents
Build positive relationships with stakeholders, contributing to Developer Relations efforts
Continue developing expertise in key technology areas (AWS, CI/CD, Github, artifact management, DevGenAI, Backstage)
Help shape engineering culture by sharing knowledge, setting best practices, and participating in data community through co-location days, guilds, and communities of practice
Work in an Agile team with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Area Manager
