Responsibilities

  • Design visual assets for eBay’s internal editorial platforms — including Hub articles, banners, and feature illustrations
  • Maintain a unified editorial design system that ensures visual consistency, accessibility, and creative excellence
  • Use AI-assisted design tools to generate, adapt, and scale visuals while maintaining brand integrity
  • Build and manage a visual asset library for the Seller Engagement team, including templates and creative toolkits that enable fast, consistent content creation
  • Partner with Communications, Marketing, and Brand teams to deliver campaign visuals across Slack, email, and digital channels
  • Support the Lead Designer in turning campaign concepts into scalable assets and templates
  • Experiment with AI and automation tools to increase efficiency, adaptability, and global reach
  • Design for internal storytelling moments — Town Halls, leadership decks, and company-wide events
  • Turn complex ideas into engaging visuals through layouts, infographics, and presentations
  • Use generative tools to prototype and repurpose assets quickly, ensuring alignment with eBay’s brand system
  • Build and evolve scalable design systems, templates, and documentation to support global consistency
  • Develop visual playbooks that define standards and guide internal teams
  • Identify automation opportunities that simplify workflows while preserving creativity and brand cohesion
  • Champion responsible AI adoption, using emerging tools thoughtfully to enhance design at scale
  • Partner with Brand, Merchandising, and Creative Studio teams to ensure consistency across all visual touchpoints
  • Provide design guidance for new initiatives, helping teams translate ideas into polished, on-brand visuals
  • Act as a bridge between creative direction and scalable execution, ensuring systems empower — not replace — innovation
