Requirements

  • 2-4 years graphic design experience in an agency or in-house studio setting
  • Thorough understanding of typography, photography, printing, and digital asset production
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator
  • Comprehensive photo-retouching and image development skills
  • BA in communication design, or visual arts
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for brochures, advertising, websites, and other marketing materials
  • Collaborate with Marketing Partner, Design Director, and Copywriter to develop creative concepts
  • Work with the Creative Operations Manager to schedule and monitor projects
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material, photography, and copy
  • Prepare rough drafts of material reflecting strong understanding of project briefs
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements
  • Liaise with external printers to ensure deadlines and quality
  • Photography research and communicate with Photo Editor to acquire photography
  • Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
  • Effectively check and approve work on press
