Background in drafting, CAD, construction, or framing highly preferred

Willingness to train initially in Burlington, North Carolina for 4-6 weeks (company covers all costs; training is paid)

Responsibilities

Design roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and engineered wood products (EWP) for residential and commercial projects
Use MiTek software to prepare bids, layouts, and engineered profiles
Collaborate with experienced professionals to meet customer needs and provide design solutions
Participate in paid comprehensive training in Burlington, North Carolina (January Design Trainee Class – 4-6 weeks)
Build relationships with retail clients, builders, framers, and developers to answer design questions and deliver top-tier service
Work with a mentor for 12 months at home plant after initial training
