Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and constructing mission-critical data centers, trading floors or similar 24/7 facilities with projects ranging from £500K to £50 million
  • Professionally trained in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering
  • Demonstrable experience managing vendors, consultants, and contractors
  • Knowledgeable about MEP disciplines, including plant infrastructure, CRACs, UPSs, office HVAC, generators, fire prevention, and building management systems
  • Experience with PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, BIM Collaborate, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, and MS Office preferred
  • Comfortable working with technical people in an IT-centric environment and learning new software and control systems
  • Working knowledge of IT systems, data center computer hardware, and trading desktop hardware
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of colleagues across several business areas, from engineers to interior designers, and everyone between

  • Contributing to the design and delivery of trading floors, colocation facilities, data centers, amenity spaces, and food service areas

  • Participating in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends to respond to critical system emergencies
