Requirements

5+ years of experience designing and constructing mission-critical data centers, trading floors or similar 24/7 facilities with projects ranging from £500K to £50 million
Professionally trained in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering
Demonstrable experience managing vendors, consultants, and contractors
Knowledgeable about MEP disciplines, including plant infrastructure, CRACs, UPSs, office HVAC, generators, fire prevention, and building management systems
Experience with PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, BIM Collaborate, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, and MS Office preferred
Comfortable working with technical people in an IT-centric environment and learning new software and control systems
Working knowledge of IT systems, data center computer hardware, and trading desktop hardware
Comfortable working with a wide range of colleagues across several business areas, from engineers to interior designers, and everyone between

Responsibilities

Designing mission-critical spaces and structures
Managing vendors, consultants, and contractors
Collaborating with internal departments and external vendors
Contributing to the design and delivery of trading floors, colocation facilities, data centers, amenity spaces, and food service areas
Staying organized and prioritizing tasks effectively
Participating in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends to respond to critical system emergencies
