Requirements

Candidates should possess analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, along with organization and time management abilities, and be comfortable with fluctuating workloads and high-stress situations. Familiarity with Linux, Python, and Git-based version control is required, and experience with cloud-based technologies and databases is a plus. Basic mechanical and electrical repair skills, as well as a general understanding of network topologies such as VPNs, firewalls, and routers, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Deployment Engineer will lead the implementation of automation solutions, including industrial robot arms, software, and auxiliary hardware, deploying and installing these solutions in logistics warehouses. They will support product testing and launch by working with product management and engineering teams, writing documentation on product operating and testing procedures, and providing on-call technical support to customers post-deployment. Additionally, they will conduct on-site integration and test activities, evaluate post-go-live performance metrics, introduce new features to customers, facilitate engineering interactions, support sales and marketing efforts, execute field retrofits, and work with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers on troubleshooting field issues.
