Requirements

4–10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, storage, or backup administration
Proficiency with Dell EMC Data Domain systems and related technologies (PowerProtect, Avamar, Networker)
Strong understanding of deduplication, replication, and backup workflows
Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows Server environments
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks
Dell EMC certifications such as Data Protection Specialist (DECS-SA) preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent hands-on technical experience may be considered)

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain Dell EMC Data Domain storage appliances used for data protection and deduplication
Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning for enterprise storage environments
Manage backup and recovery operations using tools like Avamar, Networker, NetBackup, Veeam, or Commvault
Troubleshoot and resolve backup and restore issues across heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux, VMware)
Perform data replication, retention policy management, and offsite storage configuration for disaster recovery
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting playbooks
Provide technical consultation and workshops on storage and cyber recovery architecture for clients or internal teams
