Responsibilities
- Provides timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long term care facilities or patient homes
- Loads and organizes products and materials for delivery into delivery vehicle following safety guidelines
- Monitors vehicle maintenance and alerts management on maintenance issues
- Completes delivery logs and submits supporting documentation
- Matches medication to shipment packaging for confirmation of accuracy
- Ensures safe operations of all delivery vehicles and compliance with all government laws and regulations
- Operates devices and applications for route navigation
- Demonstrates professional and ethical standards
- Delivers prescription orders and products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule
- Demonstrates ethical conduct, maintains patient confidentiality, and ensures regulatory compliance standards are met
- Manages all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the organization's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
