U.S. Citizenship required
Minimum 15 years’ experience
Master’s degree in a relevant field; PhD preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct research studies combining operational expertise with novel technology approaches and sophisticated research techniques
Assess military effectiveness and engineering viability
Concerned with unique or controversial problems impacting major Department of Defense programs
Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning, and executing technical projects of an R&D nature
Experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in technological programs, preferably those transitioned to operational use
Experience in one of the following areas: air, land, space, naval surface warfare, tactical intelligence, special operations, wargaming, and electronic warfare
