Responsibilities

The Default Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for managing foreclosure activities from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. This includes monitoring and completing tasks leading up to the First Legal Action, managing foreclosure timelines, and improving attorney performance. The specialist will interact with mortgagors, attorneys, investors, and other stakeholders, conduct file reviews, audit expenses, perform loan research, respond to audit requests, report litigated matters, and analyze portfolio performance to minimize risk. They will also provide support to less experienced team members and prioritize work to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
