Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
  • Basic math understanding
  • Understand, follow, and effectively communicate verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work with handheld tools (i.e. Die Grinder, Dremel Tool, etc.) for extended periods of time
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
  • Lifting minimum 30 pounds; lifting frequency: occasionally
  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization

Responsibilities

  • Remove burrs from machined parts using various hand and power tools
  • Select proper methods and tools for deburring with or without assistance
  • Polish and blend surfaces
  • Set-up and operate all equipment (i.e. Deburr Bench, various Grinders, etc.) in the Deburring area
  • Check work against the blueprint with or without assistance
  • Work with basic precision measuring instruments (including caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, etc.) to manufacture product to specifications and requirements
  • Maintain all records required by the Company
