Ability to read and write English
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications
Excellent hand-to-eye coordination and good hand dexterity
Proficient in basic shop math
Ability to work in a standing position up to 10 hours
Ability to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques

Responsibilities

Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures
Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures
Perform machine and hand finishing techniques to smooth and blend rough components into finished products
Blend lines using multiple sanding tools to meet engineering requirements
Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications
Report to work on time
Follow instructions from supervisor or management
Interact well with co-workers
Understand and follow work rules and procedures
Perform other various duties as needed or as assigned
