Why This Role is Exciting

AuditBoard is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join our Global Deal Desk team. This role is positioned as a trusted and recognized business partner to the Sales Field Organization. The Deal Desk Analyst will support all commercial-related activities, including deal structuring and pricing, contract creation, review and approval for quotes, and providing support to the Sales Field on AuditBoard’s quoting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to the Sales field and Customer Success in deal structuring, pricing, redlining, and contract management.
• Participate in deal reviews with Sales/Sales Leadership to help drive account-level strategy on pricing and deal structuring.
• Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently and align with company policies.
• Review, interpret, and confirm contract terms and conditions, working closely with finance and legal teams to ensure accuracy.
• Verify compliance with internal policies.
• Draft, modify, and finalize contracts for new, add-on, and upsell business for Cloud Subscription Services.
• Review and approve deals for AuditBoard customers and prospects.
• Anticipate issues and initiate resolutions using professional judgment, company policies, and procedures.
• Address daily queries from Sales and Account Management teams regarding AuditBoard’s quoting tools and/or CRM system.
• Participate in testing to support quoting tool enhancements.
• Support Sales enablement through new hire training initiatives and ad hoc training requests.
• Independently drive efficiency and process improvements.
• Support commercial projects on an as-needed basis.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

• Requires a 4-year college degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Deal Desk within a SaaS company.
• A bias towards velocity.
• A “Customer First” perspective and ethos.
• Experience supporting global/multinational customers and deals.
• Outstanding business partnering skills – ability to interact positively with the Sales Field and influence business outcomes.
• Excellent understanding of most Deal Support/Commercial topics (pricing, deal structuring, contracting, etc.); familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition policies is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
• Ability to acquire knowledge of our products and their value to AuditBoard’s Customers.
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of AuditBoard’s corporate goals and objectives and consider them in offer design.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities, and meet deadlines on a daily basis.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with computer applications such as Google Suite, Slack, Windows, Excel, and Word.
• CRM systems – SFDC and CPQ experience are a plus.
