Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience, along with experience with relational databases at scale, including administration, data modeling, and query optimization. Proven experience as a technical support professional interacting with external customers is required, alongside a strong aptitude for understanding and learning new software products and excellent communication skills demonstrating patience and empathy when explaining complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

The Technical Support Engineer will work with customers on a wide range of topics, including basic administration of TimescaleDB and in-depth consultative conversations regarding design, optimization, and implementation. They will manage support cases from initiation to resolution, develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their success, and demonstrate curiosity, a continuous learning mindset, and a proactive approach to improving products, processes, and culture.
