The Data Specialist will develop methodologies to classify different types of baggage for robotic handling systems. They will design strategies to analyze manual operation activities and conduct time-in-motion studies using on-site video footage. The role involves statistically analyzing and developing operational models for various scenarios and utilizing third-party simulation software to design, test, and optimize concepts for robotic systems. Additionally, they will define and justify the specific types and volumes of data required for effective implementation and present data findings in clear, user-friendly formats.
