Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
  • Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement
  • Expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2025 for 13 months
  • Keen to develop your skills and interested in building a career in technology business operations or sales
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Organised and able to effectively manage your time
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and database management. Excel and PowerPoint especially would be beneficial
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales & presales colleagues in managing sales opportunities
  • Learn about HPE, the company strategy, organisational structure, business and sales/presales governance, processes, and tools
  • Look into and shadow presales contributions to the sales cycles of a world-renowned tech company
  • Take on reporting responsibilities, providing updates on sales/presales activity within the team
  • Lead internal written communications for the Presales leadership team and drive engagement through channels such as Slack
  • Get involved in a variety of projects across the department e.g. managing corporate hospitality activities, supporting with live sales opportunities
  • Develop skills and expertise with the support of a designated mentor and the Early Careers development programme
  • Complete a 4 week ‘hand over’ period from the current intern
  • Work closely alongside other Sales & Presales Support Interns
