Minimum master’s degree or equivalent based on experience
Ideal: Chemistry bachelor’s degree and Data Science master’s degree
5+ years of experience delivering data solutions in an industrial context
Exceptional analytical and numerical skills
Experienced creator of data storage, maintenance, and visualizations

Critical view on data accuracy and high attention to detail
Fluent English
Strong Data Engineering and Data Science skills
Good knowledge of chemistry and sustainability concepts in chemical industry
Ability to design data architectures and data integration protocols
Good understanding of data modelling concepts
Ability to extract, transform, and load (ETL/data preparation)
Strong visualization capabilities for advanced analytics
Specific expertise in data science tools: SAP ERP, relational databases (SAP HANA, Azure Storage, Sharepoint Lists), Power Query (M language), Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, Databricks, Power BI (DAX), SAP Business Objects, Planning Analytics, Python (scikit-learn, PyTorch), IBM Cloud Pak for Data, SQL, Jupyter

Responsibilities

Work closely with R&D and Sustainability teams to design and build new data solutions using available IT tools
Upgrade and improve existing data solutions aligned with stakeholder needs
Ensure up-to-date dashboard information highlighting critical areas for decision making by implementing automated refresh routines
Provide training to functions on the use of data management systems and visualization dashboards
Engage with R&D teams to implement digital solutions and increase efficiency
Provide guidance and training to the Data Analyst for routine maintenance and administration of developed solutions
Support Huntsman Polyurethanes business with enhanced digital solutions for Innovation, Sustainability, and Product Data
Develop new solutions and maintain existing ones to support decision making via robust data sources and modern dashboards
Collaborate with corporate Advanced Analytics team and divisional teams (Innovation, Sustainability, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial, S&OP)
