Requirements

Candidates should be pursuing or have graduated with a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Analytics, or possess equivalent work experience. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with data science/machine learning libraries including OpenCV, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, and Pandas are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also necessary to influence others to take action. Preferred qualifications include experience applying analytic methodologies like Machine Learning, Optimization, and Simulation to real-world problems, experience with large datasets and cloud computing platforms (GCP or Azure), and familiarity with DevOps environments, Git, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will design and implement innovative models to enhance business processes, constructively research, design, and customize algorithms for various problems and data types, and utilize expertise in Operations Research and machine learning models to develop scalable Data Science algorithms. Responsibilities also include collaborating with Data and Software Engineering teams to productionize solutions, applying exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model building on massive datasets, mentoring others as a technical coach, and becoming a recognized expert in Data Science techniques while quantifying business outcome improvements.
