Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Scientist role, preferably focusing on marketing or customer analytics. Essential technical skills include strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, along with solid understanding of frameworks like regression analysis, classification models, time series analysis, explainable ML/AI (e.g., SHAP), A/B testing, and experimental design. Proficiency with SQL, experience with Jupyter Notebooks, and knowledge of integrating Generative AI tools into data science workflows are required. Experience with AWS Cloud Services/Snowflake and dashboarding/BI tools like Tableau is a plus. Advanced professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills to present to non-technical stakeholders.
The Data Scientist will apply statistical and machine learning techniques to marketing problems such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, and marketing attribution. They will design and analyze experiments, including A/B testing frameworks, to optimize marketing efforts.
