Requirements

  • University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Socio-economics or other related fields
  • At least 3 or more years of experience in FMCG / Retail / Consumer Research or any related industry
  • Experience in leading/mentoring the team and partnering with other departments to drive strategic business decisions using data
  • Knowledge of/Interest in consumers and their behaviours and e-receipt collection methodologies
  • Strong aptitude for data analysis with basic knowledge of statistics, including the ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret large data sources
  • Strong time management and coordination skills
  • Project management experience including the skill to keep the end-to-end overview, managing projects from conception to completion
  • Working knowledge of Python and optimally also R; especially in the area of data extraction, data cleaning, root cause analysis and data visualization
  • Experience with SQL, working with queries and large-scale databases
  • Interest in agile tools and agile ways of working including team player in an agile working environment
  • Ability to navigate through crisis and difficult interactions together with ability to solve problems
  • Knowledge of consumer behaviour, panels in general, consumer metrics and analytics (preferred)
  • Experience with any e-receipt capture methodologies and experience in FMCG market (preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills together with agile, solution-oriented ways of working and a high interest in decision making
  • Profound coding experience and technical skills combined with a flexible and innovative mindset

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Product Design & Enhancement (PDE) team within the International Markets Data Science team
  • Support the implementation and activation of processes that reinvent the way we measure how people shop
  • Engage with in-market and global teams to bring the product alive, keep it stable and ensure ongoing quality performance
  • Ensure the correct translation of methods into country needs, ensuring technical correctness
  • Drive efficient, reliable, scalable and maximally automated implementation of new innovations
  • Work on the latest measurement innovations with a focus on product stability and quality
