Requirements

8 to 10+ years of experience in ETL testing, BI testing
3 to 5 years of experience in leading the team
Experience in creating/analyzing simple to complex SQL
Knowledge on Database objects and relational data models
Good understanding of various database technologies (DB2, Teradata, Oracle 10g/11g, SQL server, Big data/Hadoop)
Knowledge of any Cloud (MS Azure, IICS, Snowflake) based testing
Exposure to Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, Hive, Toad Data point etc
Good exposure to Data automation validation tools like Informatica DVO, Katalon etc
Data automation using Python is good to have
Good exposure in executing Functional, Regression, Integration and E2E testing
Knowledge on Insurance Domain is plus
Good exposure to agile testing process, test strategy planning and implementation, test execution monitoring and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Expertise in ETL, Snowflake, Python, test automation in data testing

Responsibilities

Planning, Monitoring and Control of Testing Activities and Tasks
Create, design, and execute the test plans and test cases which covers ETL process and Data Warehouse validation
Performs moderately complex test case/procedure development, test management functions and tasks
Performs moderately complex analysis of requirements, test coverage and impact of proposed requirements changes
Conducts peer reviews of test artifacts
Performs work under moderate supervision and ability to lead a small team of employees and contractors
May serve as an agile development team member, creating and testing the product increment
Play a major role in championing the importance in quality improvement across all areas of Software Development Lifecycle
Collaborate with Project teams to understand the business use case and build a data testing strategy
Lead and Mentor Data QA team members
Coordinate UAT in their E2E Testing
Work on Continuous improvements on the processes
