Position Overview

Experian is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our Sales Enablement/Operations team as a Data Quality Team Lead. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to shaping the future of employer services for Human Resources compliance and outsourcing. You will report to the Salesforce Platform Manager and will be instrumental in leading through influence, guidance, and collaboration, rather than formal personnel management.

As a team lead for data quality analysts, you will serve as a key point of coordination and mentorship, empowering team members to enhance their skills, overcome challenges, and deliver exceptional results. While you will not be responsible for HR functions like performance reviews or disciplinary actions, your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive team culture and driving operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide and mentor a team of data quality analysts, offering technical expertise, training, and support to cultivate a culture of accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Liaison and Alignment: Act as the primary communicator between the data quality team and the managing CRM leader, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives by relaying project updates, team feedback, and critical issues.
  • Data Quality Oversight: Oversee and execute data quality initiatives, including data audits, cleansing, standardization, deduplication, and validation, ensuring adherence to global data governance standards and audit requirements.
  • CRM Data Integrity: Maintain and enhance CRM data integrity by managing client credentialing, sales opportunity processing, and supporting both ad-hoc and bulk data requests in compliance with service level agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to uphold data quality across the organization, championing best practices and facilitating seamless data integration.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, document, and refine data standards, workflows, and operational processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Team Facilitation: Foster effective team communication and collaboration, proactively resolving issues and cultivating an environment of transparency and shared accountability.
  • Project Support: Contribute to internal projects by identifying potential challenges, proposing data-driven solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in data quality and data governance.
    • 1+ years of experience leading projects, mentoring peers, and coordinating efforts.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data quality principles, including data profiling, cleansing, validation, and governance.
    • Demonstrated experience coordinating across functions, aligning data quality efforts with business goals and operational needs.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to perform complex functions.
    • Basic knowledge of PC desktop and SharePoint.
  • Adaptability:
    • Willingness to learn Salesforce (SFDC) and other project-related tools.
    • Ability to act as a bridge between the data quality team and the CRM Leader.
    • Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments, effectively managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing business demands.
