Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Quality, or Metadata Management
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica and others
  • Experience with metadata and lineage tooling (Collibra, Purview, Informatica, Alation, Atlan)
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills (conceptual, logical, physical)
  • Experience designing dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks and DQ monitoring platforms
  • Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus)
  • Scripting for automation (Python, Shell)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across both business and technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Implement Data Governance Frameworks, policies, standards, and operational models
  • Configure and maintain data catalogs and lineage tools (e.g., Collibra, Azure Purview, Informatica EDC, Alation)
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica
  • Design and deploy data quality rules and automated monitoring using DQ tools and custom scripts
  • Develop governance dashboards and KPIs in Power BI, Tableau
  • Support metadata standards, critical data elements (CDEs), data ownership, and stewardship processes
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data quality, data movement, and source-to-target issues
  • Produce technical documentation, governance playbooks, lineage diagrams, and operating procedures
