Requirements

  • Proficiency in Linux OS, with particular expertise in Fedora and Debian-based distributions (Alma Linux, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python and SQL)
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Git, Docker
  • Expertise in leveraging automation/DevOps/CICD principles
  • Experience with operational tools and secure practices for infrastructure, software deployment and change management
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and basic DevOps automation tools (e.g. AWS Cloud Formation)
  • Working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, EBS, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC)
  • Understanding of modern networking concepts
  • Strong analytical and technical skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Tech stack: AWS, Bash, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for data production systems in Nielsen Technology International Media (Television and Radio audio measurement)
  • Configure, implement, and deploy audience measurement solutions
  • Ensure smooth operation of mission-critical production systems across 30+ countries
  • Automate and streamline production workflows using DevOps principles and tools
  • Manage infrastructure (Cloud Formation templates, automation workflows)
  • Manage cloud-related migration changes and updates, supporting the secure implementation of changes/fixes
  • Support secure migration changes and updates in AWS
  • Document procedures and best practices in Confluence
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency support
