4-year degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of architecture experience and 10+ years of designing and implementing data engineering pipelines for warehouse, lakehouse, and modern cloud-based solutions
Proficient in data architecture with extensive hands-on experience in SQL, ETL/ELT, data storage options, data quality, and handling both structured and unstructured data
Experienced with modern cloud-based data stacks, preferably Snowflake and AWS

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team, guiding the definition, planning, delivery, and support of our modern data platform to enhance business value and growth
Lead the design, construction, and optimization of complex data pipelines and transformations to support AI, advanced analytics, and other enterprise applications
Architect scalable, flexible, and cost-effective enterprise data solutions, establishing and promoting architectural patterns and standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers, to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver impactful data solutions
Mentor team members and provide consultation on best practices in data engineering and architecture to ensure optimal solutions are implemented
Serve as a subject matter expert, offering technical guidance and industry best practices on data engineering architecture and migration patterns to leadership
Implement data governance and security measures to ensure data is secure, accessible, and trusted
Develop technical solutions that align with customer needs, business processes, and technical requirements to drive business outcomes
