Requirements

Strong expertise in Databricks and AWS services (e.g., S3, IAM, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch)
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and orchestration tools
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Use of GenAI powered or agentic stack (e.g., GitHub Copilot as a minimum)
Excellent communication skills and ability to document processes effectively
Good amount of critical thinking and common sense, plus actual experience developing in Python/SQL (ideally on AWS + Databricks)
Care about data, learn and understand the data core logic
Nice to have: Knowledge of pharma or specifically pharma DSCS domain and pharmaceutical processes (e.g., predicting drug substance stability and assay monitoring)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data lakes and warehouses
Implement data transformation rules and develop data models to support analytics and machine learning workflows
Collaborate with Product Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to make data accessible and meaningful
Ensure data quality, maintain data catalogs, and leverage orchestration, logging, and monitoring tools
Apply test-driven development principles to build reliable data solutions
Contribute to information architecture and follow best practices for version control using Git
