Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, along with two years of experience. Required experience includes Cl/CD, Jenkins, GIT, Java, Python, DJSON, HTML, Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles, REST, SOAP or Web Service APIs, Hadoop, R, Hive, MySQL, NoSQL, contributing to large-scale applications development, data science, or data analytics projects, data analytics on large datasets in healthcare, business, or retail sectors, Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes, and product management in a large, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
The Data Engineer will develop, build, and manage large-scale data structures, pipelines, and efficient ETL workflows to address complex problems and support business applications. Responsibilities include writing ETL processes, designing database systems, developing tools for real-time and offline analytic processing, collaborating with the Data Science team to integrate algorithms and models into automated processes, testing and maintaining systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, leveraging Hadoop architecture and HDFS commands, building data marts and data models, integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility standards, analyzing IT environments, and experimenting with tools to provide optimal solutions.
