Bachelor’s Degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in a data centre environment or in managing infrastructure systems
CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical foundation
Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and standards (ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801)
Familiarity with data centre design standards (ANSI/TIA-942)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Required to work onsite typically 5 days a week

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, cabling, and physical security
Perform installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) for servers, network equipment, and cabling
Ensure compliance with structured cabling standards such as ANSI/TIA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801
Maintain awareness of ANSI/TIA-942 data centre design and operational standards
Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure optimal performance and uptime
Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to support infrastructure projects and incident resolution
Maintain accurate documentation of assets, cabling diagrams, and change records
Support capacity planning and environmental monitoring tools
