Requirements

4+ years experience supporting Production Data Centers
Comfortable using a command line interface
Hands-on experience installing fiber optic cabling
Basic understanding of power cabling and PDUs (Power Distribution Units)
Familiarity with Linux and other network operating systems
Familiar with server, storage, network technologies
Ability to lift up to 50 lb
Ability to express good judgment to take action & move forward
Ability to work collaboratively with both local and remote teams
Must be able to work on-site in Tukwila, WA (within reasonable commuting distance)
May require occasional off-hours work for maintenance windows

Responsibilities

Perform hardware installation, configuration, and testing of data center equipment
Perform server and network upgrades within a production data center
Run fiber optic and copper cabling to support growing infrastructure
Maintain proper cable documentation and cable management standards
Conduct Server configuration & Layer 2 Network configuration
Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
Follow data center best practices and security protocols
Assist with inventory management and asset tracking
Participate in Data Center and expansion builds outs
