Requirements

Proven experience in data center network security, IP networking, network design, and implementation of secure and scalable data center networks
Strong knowledge of resolving complex network issues in production data center and customer environments, while working closely with team members and cross-functional teams
Experience working with Cisco Nexus 3K/5K/9K
Excellent knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
Solid understanding of IP networking and L2/L3 network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, DHCP, and DNS
Strong expertise with NGFW firewalls like Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Checkpoint
Proficiency in creating high-quality documentation
Fluency in both Lithuanian and English (written and spoken)
Strong sense of ownership, proactive mindset, accountability, and drive to complete tasks
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain network infrastructures within private and public cloud environments, ensuring stable, reliable, and secure data center network operations
Develop advanced network configurations and improvements for data center environments, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient operations
Create solutions for complex incidents and changes by collaborating with architects, project engineers, and cross-functional teams such as Virtualization, Cloud, Linux, and Windows
Consult with peers and stakeholders to provide expert guidance, share best practices, and maintain high standards of operational excellence and documentation
