Requirements

  • Proven experience in data center network security, IP networking, network design, and implementation of secure and scalable data center networks
  • Strong knowledge of resolving complex network issues in production data center and customer environments, while working closely with team members and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with Cisco Nexus 3K/5K/9K
  • Excellent knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
  • Solid understanding of IP networking and L2/L3 network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, DHCP, and DNS
  • Strong expertise with NGFW firewalls like Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Checkpoint
  • Proficiency in creating high-quality documentation
  • Fluency in both Lithuanian and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactive mindset, accountability, and drive to complete tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain network infrastructures within private and public cloud environments, ensuring stable, reliable, and secure data center network operations
  • Develop advanced network configurations and improvements for data center environments, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient operations
  • Create solutions for complex incidents and changes by collaborating with architects, project engineers, and cross-functional teams such as Virtualization, Cloud, Linux, and Windows
  • Consult with peers and stakeholders to provide expert guidance, share best practices, and maintain high standards of operational excellence and documentation
