Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
5+ years applicable experience
Expert SQL skills
Expert Excel skills
Expert Tableau, Crystal or similar business analytic program skills
Previous experience displaying strong attention to detail
Previous experience identifying opportunities and implementing process improvement
Previous experience performing tasks independently with expert experience
Expert technical writing skills
Ability to demonstrate clear communication on complex subjects to a wide range of stakeholders
Understanding of data and analytics, turning both into useful information
Ability to identify data patterns and inconsistencies
Ability to address problems involving several variables in standardized situations
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with all levels of the organization
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
Commitment to continuous improvement in data collection
Sensitivity and responsibility to management needs
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
Completion of New Hire Orientation and all training requirements including Relias
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance

Responsibilities

Collaborate on data structure, planning, design, and enhancements
Assist in defining data requests’ purpose for the team and stakeholders
Exhibit expert skills in analytic tools and programming languages
Create and maintain stored procedures to simplify data evaluation and reporting
Build and distribute visualizations and reports
Foster a safe and trusting environment for effective problem-solving
Provide technology leadership and ongoing skills training
Provide support and collaborate with team members on projects
Assess Data Analysts’ work quality and accuracy
Prioritize tasks/tickets for team members
Assist in developing the strategic plan for the Data Analytics department
Monitor efficiency and timely completion of tasks/tickets
Communicate the team’s performance to the organization
Lead planning of long-term/complex data and reporting projects
Conduct onboarding training for new team members
Brief pre-screening of applicants and provide input for team members’ annual performance evaluations
Function in accordance with Operational Guidelines and within professional code of ethics
Participate in staff development activities
Other duties as assigned
