Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They should have SQL skills, including creating and modifying macros, and creating dashboards using SQL coding, as well as excellent written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas, statistical formulas, macros, conditional formatting, importing data, creating graphs/charts, and the ability to independently analyze large amounts of data are also required.
The Data Analyst II will be responsible for statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns, identifying and capturing data from internal and external sources. They will ensure consistency throughout ongoing projects, create data visualizations, troubleshoot and test database technical issues with the development team, create monthly Excel and Google Sheets files from databases, perform quality assurance on data, handle data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs, and assemble large, complex data sets to meet functional/non-functional business requirements. They will also work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in data systems and perform other duties as required.
