Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of six years of experience in data analysis and requirements gathering is required, along with SQL experience. Familiarity with Agile development environments and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint is essential. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary, along with the ability to think strategically. Experience with Business Intelligence tools like OBIEE, Tableau, and IBM Cognos is a plus, as is experience working on projects at a Federal Agency or with AWS development projects. Candidates must also be able to attain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will manage the development and maintenance of project documentation and gather and analyze company data to identify vulnerabilities and propose data-driven solutions. They will support functional testing and UAT efforts, work with business stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements, and conduct interviews and workshops to determine functional and end-user requirements. The analyst will document reporting requirements and collaborate with report developers on wireframes and mockups. They will analyze data from multiple sources, provide input to the Data Model and ETL processes, and manage the evolution of user stories and backlog items.
