Mechanically inclined
Minimum of 1 year mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of application or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year)
Welding experience preferred but not necessary
Must complete an 8-level maintenance training course within an allotted time frame
Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, using stairs and ladders; willing and able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation
Work in various conditions, including cold, damp, hot, humid, and outdoor environments
Maintenance schedules: 5 to 6 days a week, following production or rotating schedule, which may include weekends and major holidays
Necessary communication skills: understand instructions via radio, read and comprehend written and verbal machine instructions/work orders, correctly complete job-related paperwork
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
Provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
Pass urinalysis as part of post-offer health assessment
For prior Tyson workers: minimum 180-day waiting period and 3-time employment limit for this location
