Senior D365 Project Manager

Employment Type: Full-time Location: Remote with US travel up to 50%

Position Overview

MCA Connect is seeking a driven, proactive, creative, and assertive Senior D365 Project Manager to lead large-scale Dynamics 365 implementation projects. These projects are typically 3-16 months in duration, involving 5-10 multi-disciplined team members across client locations. You will manage high-risk, high-complexity ERP and/or CE projects, providing leadership to all functional and business areas affected. While you will be supported by a strong project team, a solid background in project management, business process optimization, and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform is essential.


Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more high risk, high complexity ERP and/or CE projects.
  • Provide leadership to all functional and business areas affected by the project.
  • Work closely with MCA Connect resource management to ensure adequate allocation of resources to projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution plans.
  • Drive project decisions and recommendations to management regarding schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project deliverables, scope, and expectations.
  • Proactively communicate and report status to executives, MCA Connect management, and all other stakeholders using status reports, executive briefings, and active team communication.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with technical project team members to achieve project goals.
  • Employ project management leading practices as provided by PMI and MCA Connect delivery standards.
  • Provide leadership to project team members regarding project management processes and best practices.
  • Directly manage the project budget and provide predictive financial analysis for accurate project status.
  • Coordinate customer invoicing, accounts receivable, and provide project forecasting models.
  • Assist with other functions including sales and marketing, implementation-related tasks, and general administration as needed.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience directly managing software implementation deployments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) and/or CE/CRM is a plus.
  • Experience with IT implementation methodologies across all phases: Diagnosis, Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment, and Operation.
  • Understanding of complete solutions within the context of an integrated enterprise-wide IT strategy.
  • Ability to work closely with key business stakeholders to communicate progress and vision.
  • Ability to allocate the correct resources to each project phase and monitor their performance.
  • Consensus-driven management style.
