Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years experience in cybersecurity, including building up cloud environment experience and experience relevant to the described tasks
- First experience managing a direct report in a similar role
- Strong analytical profile with the ability to communicate complex and technical information to stakeholders, business, and leadership
- Cooperative mindset: ability to gather information from different departments, build trust, and ensure new guidelines are followed by teams
- Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO, CIS, CoBit)
Responsibilities
- Act as team leader within the information security office
- Implement and configure system alerts
- React to data breaches
- Ensure the highest standards for IT security projects are implemented and maintained
- Review and respond to possible vulnerability issues
- Set up and follow up monitoring tools
- Troubleshoot issues/errors from security devices
- Conduct daily monitoring of key infrastructure and compliance monitoring activities
- Communicate internally about security exposures, threats, misuses, etc
- Partner with vendors to manage proof of concepts and assist in implementation of new security systems and devices
- Ensure clear guidelines, work instructions, and standards are in place within the team to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate effectively across global teams by supporting urgent requests, demonstrating flexibility with availability, and managing workload and schedule proactively
